Welcome page

I am currently a Lecturer and Visiting Researcher in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College Dublin, Ireland, and jointly a Postoctoral Fellow of the Claude Shannon Institute for Discrete Mathematics, Coding and Cryptography, Ireland.
Between October 2003 and August 2006 I was a Lecturer in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, UK.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the Program for Applied and Computational Mathematics (PACM) in Princeton University, NJ, USA, in June 2003. My thesis advisor was Prof. Ingrid Daubechies.
I graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 1998, and my thesis advisor was Prof. Panagiotis Kottis.
Earlier, I was a student for 12 years in the Lycée Franco-Hellénique d' Athènes, whence I graduated in 1993.
